Chemistry Lessons Available 24 Hours a Day

The Haltom High School Chemistry Department is collaborating to bring students flipped instructional videos that can quickly and easily be accessed, via QR Codes.  The codes are centrally located in the Chemistry hallway. Students access the videos with either a QR reader app, the camera on their smartphone, or Snapchat. The QR Codes will link the student to the team's YouTube channel, where they can also watch more videos from the team's video library. One student told us that he likes the QR Codes because he can swing by and scan what he needs without the assistance of a teacher, and that it is much faster than logging into Canvas.
