Interventionist Kicks Off Pathblazer Reading in BISD

Kudos to Melanie Shelton, Haltom Middle School Reading Interventionist, for getting her students started with Pathblazer Reading.  The program begins with an adaptive screener for each student.  After reviewing data which includes a Proficiency Level for each student, Mrs. Shelton will assign the appropriate diagnostics.  This prescriptive model includes only activities to help students master the objectives they need help with.  Both Mrs. Shelton and her students will be monitoring progress very closely.
