Walker Creek Elementary Students Create Poems Using Storybird During Computer Class
Presently we are discussing poetry. After an introductory lesson to Storybird, I challenged the students to create a poem. Above is a rough draft of a poem created by one of our 5th graders during class. Their assignment was to choose a picture in Storybird that they would like to write a poem about. Our students really enjoy using Storybird because of the large selection of artwork. Every time they come to the computer class they ask if they can get on Storybird. Many of our students access Storybird at home. The following Monday, several students said they had written stories over the weekend.
I found that site very usefull and this survey is very cirious, I ' ve never seen a blog that demand a survey for this actions, very curious...
