Breaking News: Walker Creek's Wolf Weather Channel

Walker Creek Elementary students in Mrs. Kelsey Wolf's fourth grade class took center stage this week, producing a series of weather reports using BISD's mobile learning resource video production system. Mrs. Kelsey Wolf designed an instructional activity incorporating the 5E (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, & Evaluate) model.

Engage: Weather Video & Tracking Weather During Thanksgiving Break
Explore: Researching weather patterns at a particular location using a computer.
Explain: Collaborating and Formulating a weather news report via a script.
Elaborate: Producing, Filming, and Editing a Weather Report with Project Innovate iPads.
Evaluate: Peer Review of Videocasts and Self Reflection
