4th graders peer edit poetry at WCE

Fourth grade students in G.A.T.E. class chose a topic and had to use the topic chosen with 3 different poetic structures to understand and experience how writers’ choose a particular structure based on the content of their writing. Using our collaboration station, students peer edited and revised their poems before presenting to others.  Having this piece of technology available, allowed an authentic revising and editing process that students can relate to as a real world experience.
