QR Codes in the Library

In the Birdville Elementary library, students will be learning about various African American authors and illustrators this week during their library time using QR codes and the library iPads.

Susanne Stutheit introduced students to Black History Month and gave them the option of reading information from Reading Rockets or Time for Kids.  She provided links to several author/ illustrators including Faith Ringgold, Kadir Nelson and Jerry Pinkney.  There are also links to the author sites for Tameka Fryer Brown, Nikki Grimes and Jacqueline Woodson.
