RHS CTE Teacher Uses H&R Block Online Challenge to Engage Students

RHS Dollars and Sense teacher Tana Taylor has her students interacting in the online H&R Block challenge to teach key concepts about budgeting. The students get virtual pay checks and then pay bills and manage their accounts online. Taylor takes grades on quizzes and participation in the different components of the site.
Scholarships are awarded at the end of the challenge for students who excel at money management. Taylor hopes at least one student in her 3 classes will win a scholarship, and she is encouraging all of them to download the app to be able to easily check and engage in their account management.
