Using Padlet for Collaboration in Social Studies

Mrs. Fogarty’s class at ACFT was trying out a new digital learning tool called Padlet today during their Social Studies time.  Mrs. Fogarty and the ACFT staff received hands on training with Padlet during their staff development session on February 15.  Padlet is an online bulletin board where students can post ideas about any given topic.  It’s a great way to show what everyone is thinking all at one time.  The students used Padlet today to collaborate and share ideas about both sides of the Civil War.  Questions students responded to included: How did the North feel about slavery?  How did the South feel about Slavery?  What were reasons behind both sides viewpoints?  Excellent use of a new digital resource Mrs. Fogarty!!!
