Haltom High School students in Brooke Evans's English II class are collaborating and creating authentic products with iMovie. "They are taking the short story that they have already analyzed and then turning this analysis into a movie-style trailer." Ms. Evans went on to say, "I wanted to do something that would not only interest the students but would also be creative and allow for group communication. I am very pleased with the results."
I like the idea of having students create movies in the classroom. It really stimulates creativity. Look forward to trying in my class.
