Smithfield Elementary - Kindergarten Personalized Learning

Kindergarten students in Courtney Wilson's Kindergarten class at Smithfield Elementary are beginning to experience personalized learning. Miss Wilson, with the help of her DLS, has created a "Wilson KPL" Google Site students can access during station rotations.  

Each child has a page on the Wilson KPL (Kindergarten Personalized Learning) site.  During station rotations the students click their name and are taken to activities targeting the skills they are currently focusing on in Language Arts. 

The activities range from interactive review websites to e-books and even individual copies of interactive Google Slides presentations!

Students are enjoying the independence of choosing their own activities.  Miss Wilson likes that she can easily add and remove resources from the site to keep them focused on meaningful activities.  The students can even access the site at home to continue practicing important skills!
