Collaborative & Visual Notetaking with Edji!
Edji.it is a new collaborative and visual note taking tool for teachers and students. Highlighting tools that are identified by popular emojis make annotating an engaging and social discussion of a text. Teachers can quickly create and manage groups to assign different readings to, which helps with differentiation. Visuals and interaction with PDFs also support language learners. Students can add questions or observations to images and charts, as well.

I feel like this is definitely something students could enjoy. I think it could be a little distracting to some, and would have to have very clear rules (like for a close reading), but also could help students engage with a text or notes in a more meaningful way to them.
