Book Commercials with Google Slides

At W.T. Francisco Elementary, 4th and 5th grade students used Google Slides to create book commercials during their library time.  Mr. Canning, the librarian, created an assignment for the students within Google Classroom with details on creating the presentation. Students spent time working on this during their scheduled library time.  The presentations contained a summary and what they liked about the book.  Once the presentations were complete, Mr. Canning held a viewing celebration.  This was a great opportunity for the students to share with others what they were reading.
