Google Classroom in the APUSH Classroom
Haltom High School Social Studies teacher, Faith Ayala, embraced Google Classroom at the beginning of this school year. "It started as a replacement for my district website. Now, I post materials, deliver content, and collect assignments through Google Classroom," said Ayala. She continued, "When I assign an assignment and use make a copy for each student feature, I can collaborate with the students immediately. Something that was pleasantly surprising about using Google is that I no longer carry stacks of notebooks home. Instead, I now use a Chromebook." In the near future, Faith plans to incorporate Google Forms as a method of assessment.
