Using Google Slides for Stop Motion Video
Tech EA Juli Kelley recently introduced her 4th and 5th grade students to the world of stop motion through the use of Google Slides. She explained the concept of stop motion and then created a slide deck template which was handed out through Google Classroom. Students created the story they wanted to tell. They could change background and other graphics on the template but had to keep the turkey graphics that were already part of the slide deck. As the students worked through their project, Kelley strengthened their editing, sizing, cropping and timing techniques as necessary. Kelley says she and the students are looking forward to their next stop motion project.
